Port is one of the artist’s favorite subjects, and this painting depicts the Port of Mokpo. Anchored boats on a calm sea give a sense of tranquility. The sky and sea are in blue, but in slightly different tones, and the landscape in distance are faintly painted. The sense of movement from strong brushstroke and primary colors show the artist’s own exquisite touch.
