This artworks is a traditional costume-adorned figure depicted against a backdrop of plains. One of the distinctive features of Moudarres’ artwork is the portrayal of figures with rectangular heads, which draws inspiration from ancient Sumerian and Assyrian sculptures. He often painted faces in this way, in which the face identifies with the ground. This representation stems from his belief that the land is the mother.
