Chun Kyung-ja majored in oriental (East Asian) painting. Even when Western painting was popular due to Western art introduced through Japan, Chun went her own way as a Korean-polychrome-painting artist using oriental painting materials and established a unique painting style. This work is presumed to be an early work, judging from the fact that only part of it is colored.
