The Cambodian artist seeks to heal the historical scars of Cambodia. She worked on a performance that both preserves and modernizes Cambodia’s traditional pottery techniques. Breaking pottery can evoke memories of trauma and loss while also reinforcing the determination not to forget by establishing connections.
