This piece was created in 2023 in tandem with In Like A Rabbit to signify the New Year and shift from the Tiger year to the Rabbit. The artist’s birthday falls very close to the Lunar New Year, which shifts depending on the date of the New Year in a given year. “According to the Gregorian calendar, I am a rabbit, but for my particular birth year on the Lunar calendar, I am officially a tiger.”
