The artist likened her roots to a puzzle that always needs to be pieced together. Just as putting together a puzzle, every aspect of the piece unveils the artist’s various identities. The organic form was borrowed from Vietnamese textiles, and the mosaic pattern was borrowed from Mexico. This space provides visitors with the chance to reflect on their own identity.
