The artist has been collecting and photographing objects that touch his heart among those he encounters in his daily life or while traveling. He says that it is interesting to love and observe the signs of wear and time on old and worn-out objects, and to reconsider their importance. Objects that were losing their shine are given new life in his works. Objects that have served their purpose or that are small in size are photographed against a simple, empty background, creating an unknown sense of space. The series is the work that best demonstrates his perspective toward objects. The artist says “I just create a stage for them to tell their individual stories by expressing them in a static atmosphere under simple backgrounds and lighting.”
