Heeah Yang’s work is motivated by her curiosity about the endless expanse of space and time in the universe, the unknown entities within them, and the idea that the universe may have
a way to solve issues that we humans cannot. Over several years, Yang met and conversed with people from different backgrounds through a meeting app and the keyword “quantum physics.” Stories of her conversations were collated as a book and are the basis of her visual work that uses different expression techniques
to explore the unknown entities within the universe. As she creates a visual representation of unknown spaces through her imagination, Yang directs our attention to the existence of unrecognizable hidden dimensions and invites us to imagine the movements of nonhumans residing beyond these worlds.
